Draft-dodgers at the time of the American Civil War turn to crime. |

| | An enjoyable, light-hearted, picaresque film which entertainingly debunks western myths and contains a set of fine performances. Unfortunately, it fails to involve the audience's emotions: it seems flip and nihilistic, especially in retrospect, and suffers by comparison with the somewhat similar Bonnie and Clyde , by the same writers. | | |
