| Hilariously bad performances, a trashy script and laboured direction turn this hopeless fiasco into one of those movies which acquires a reputation as "so bad it's good". Burton looks as though he's either drunk or nursing a hangover throughout; this may well be his very worst screen performance, though admirers of his performance in The Assassination of Trotsky may disagree. | |
