Bawdy tales, such as Boccaccio might have written today. |
Reviewed by Chris Tookey
|
| Uneven, overlong compendium unworthy of its heavyweight directors, but redeemed by jolly moments, sunny good humour and much female pulchritude. Visconti's episode is the weakest. A fourth story, directed by Mario Monicelli, was dropped for international release. With this included, the film runs 210 minutes. | |
