George A. Romero’s tongue-in-cheek rip-off of his biggest success, The Night of the Living Dead, is repetitive, crudely acted and self-consciously repulsive, but fun if approached in the right, ghoulish spirit. And it’s one of the most vicious satires ever on American materialism.
