Womaniser (Michael Caine) in Swinging London gets his come-uppance. |
Reviewed by Chris Tookey
|
| A quintessential film of the swinging sixties, in that it affects to condemn the pushy amorality of its hero but clearly adores him. Still, it is so well acted - especially by Michael Caine, Vivien Merchant and Julia Foster - that it is hard to take offence, and easy to enjoy. | |
