D' Artagnan (Douglas Fairbanks, pictured), now captain of the King's bodyguards, has to protect his master, the King, from a coup d'etat. |

Fairbanks's last swashbuckler - a sequel to his hit with Three Musketeers (1921) is mainly silent, though with a couple of chivalry-conscious addresses to the audience. Loads of action and a gentle sense of humour keep this one watchable.
